RARE MULTI-COLOR 1903BREWERY CHECK!
This superb original check was issued by the legendary Pittsburgh Brewing Company in 1903 to pay a dividend on the company\'s stock. This type of check is very rare and was issued ONLY to pay shareholders in the brewery!
Measuring a tremendous 3.5\" x 8.5\" and ideal for framing, the check is printed on blue security paper. It was drawn on the German National Bank, an excessively rare bank, and was hand signed by the President of Pittsburgh Brewing, F.W. Mueller!
A large red \"DIVIDEND CHECK\" appears in outline form behind the black and grey shaded title. The company\'s memorable patriotic red, white, blue and gold logo with the U.S. Flag (also its label design!) appears at the left.
The condition of this 110-year old papertreasure is exceptional. The paper is absolutely clean and crisp with just 2-3 light folds and a small cut and/or pinhole cancellation.No stains, tears, splits, larger holes or other impairments.
