This is the original final art drawn in india ink on heavyweight paper for the daily comic strip titled Promotion Under Protest! that appeared in newspapers on January 14, 1938. Tommy Tompkins and Skeeter are featured throughout as the manager of Three-Point Airfield moves to break up the inseparable pair. Forrest created the popular aviation-adventure comic strip in 1928 and continued it through its 14-year run until 1942. This original is signed "Hal Forrest" by the artist in the last panel. Bell Syndicate label is on the back.

The paper has mildly darkened with age; there are a few minor spots: FINE condition.
