Offered for sale, a cast, brass-finish poppy plate manufactured by Philadelphia Manufacturing Company, I believe in the 1960\'s, before they moved to Florida. I\'ve had this plate for a while, and the hallmark shown in one of the photographs alluded me, and then I recently found a pair of bookends, also listed separately in an sale, and it still had the original label which solved the mystery hallmark on this piece. The plate is in very good vintage condition with only minor surface wear. It measures 7 1/2\" in diameter, and the plate has a one-inch rise from the base, making for a nice display. Weight without packaging is slightly over 2 lbs., a substantial piece.
