1.TIME:Shipping from Alaska can take longer and is generally more expensive. But we\'ve been shipping worldwide for nearly 30 years, and we promise to do our utmost to get you your product in a timely fashion.

2.PACKING:In order to keep shipping costs economical, we pack our merchandise as economically as possible to reduce fees. Please be careful opening the item and allow time for the merchandise to decompress before immediate use.

3. INSURANCE:In order to reduce costs further, and meet the varying needs of our customers, we leave most decisions to our customers’ discretion. This includes parcel insurance. While we have few issues with theft, rifling, damage or loss, we cannot guarantee against them if a package is uninsured. Though there is an extra fee for insurance, it can also assure protection against all these factors. If you do not select insurance on the final invoice, you choose to bear the liability for the package. We trust our customers to make the right decision for their respective needs.

4.EXPRESS SERVICE:If an express mail option is needed to meet a certain deadline, please contact us and we will work with you to formulate a solution.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International buyers please read!

1. PRIORITY MAIL:In each listing, the price quoted for shipping to your locality is USPS Priority Mail International. We do not offer any Small Flat Rate Envelope options because those are no longer track-able packages. Priority Mail times vary from 3-5 weeks.

2. 1ST CLASS INTL:Some items are light enough that we can ship via the more economical First Class Parcel. If you are interested in a different shipping method please contact us directly before making your purchase. Though these rates are cheaper, there is no means of tracking. Therefore please be aware that if you choose First Class Mail, we will not offer a shipping guarantee (and cannot be held liable for your item). We can register 1st Class mail to some countries at an additional charge. 1st class mail time vary from 3-5 weeks

3. EXPRESS MAIL:we are happy to offer express mail international. This is a more expensive service but it is track-able and usually arrives within 2 to 2.5 weeks.

3. You may be charged a duty, fee or tax on your item that is imposed and collected by your country or locality. The Alaska Trading Company is not responsible to know, calculate or pay for this. All duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.
