Hand Painted, Bauer Pottery, Matt Carlton Hand Thrown, Bisque Carnation Vase For SaleSome more of our personal treasures to be offered to you. This being Bauer pottery bisque, hand painted 12" carnation vase, hand thrown by Matt Carlton and in EXCELLENT condition, only structual issue I see is one chip on bottom edge of the foot, pic #5, which is not noticeable when placed on table, no hairlines, chips, nics nor repairs. I believe the design to be "indian motif", with deep red, beige and touch of green. It has a wonderful texture of different size dimples all over it to inhance the design , which was applied before hand painting it and has faded through the years, but gives a great look for California, Spanish Revival, Arts & Crafts decor. Similar bisque hand painted pieces, art ware and dinnerware are shown in "Classic American Pottery", on page #66. This would a great addition to any California pottery art ware collection like, Catalina, Garden City, Pacific, etc...This is very heavy and local pick up is welcomed...California buyers pay 7.50 % sales tax without a valid and signed resale card...Please wait for our invoice before paying, as insurance will be added to you shipping...
