Red Wing Stoneware Company and Minnesota Stoneware Companyused thehanddrawn leafwith cobalt glaze from approximately 1885-1895.Both companiesusedthe slip cup method for decoration and capacity. Both companies were located in Red Wing, Minnesota. The inside of this crock is glazed with Albany Slip glaze. Also the inside shows evidence that this crock was hand turned. This crock is approximately 11 1/4" tall and the bottom is almost 11" in diameter. This crock has 0 cracks, however on the left handle and on the rim are manufacturing defects; the rough place on the handle is glazed over and the rough place on the rim was there when fired.
