A fabulous and very decorative antique English inkwell or inkstand made from English sterling silver with a full hallmark for London 1905, the makers mark is also present for S W Smith & Co.The inkwell is made from cut crystal, cut in the ever-popular hobnail design, the base wrapped in silver to fit into the base, the collar and hinged lid also in silver, engraved on the top February 11th 1908, when it was gifted or presented originally.There are four spherical balls incorporated into the stand which act as a pen rest (the pen is my personal property and not included in the sale).Excellent condition measuring 4 3/4\" in diameter.Item ID:36565FREE Worldwide Registered Airmail Directly from London, England
