This is a very unique and vintage pair of woodenowls. Both owls are skillfullyhand-carved from a block of wood that with age has developed a beautiful patinaand smooth finish. Although not equal insize, with one figure being slightly larger, they appear to be a matching setand measure approximately 6 ½” in height by 4” in width. The smaller figure weighs less and isslighter in the body and head. The setis unmarked and appears to be in excellent condition with no evidence ofdamage. This handsome set displaysartistic and skillful workmanship in a whimsical folk art tradition.
