When Hans Koch set up shop in 1980, money wasso tight that the designer didn't have a sewing machine. Before closing 3 yearsago, his bold, geometric leather accessories and jewelry sold for hundreds ofdollars. The entire production processdone by hand, with Koch cutting and gluing the colorful leathers himself beforehanding them over to two assistants who then sewed them into bags andbelts. Most bags have straps that easilyconvert from handbag to shoulder-bag length. While his leather came mainly froma wholesaler in Munich, he regularly scoured Europe for the finest materials.
This is a great 'suit bag' but can be worn casually as well. Black leather, lined with olive green leather. One interior pocket.
