I have a acquired a nice grouping of early children\'s books with wonderful Victorian-era illustrations. The lot came from a single estate and the books show varying degrees of wear. For the most part they are quite nice--I rarely find early children\'s books in such nice, clean condition!!!!! The books contain black and white line drawings, with beautiful chromolithographed covers. Few of the books contain publication dates, but they all appear to be circa 1890-1910. This is \"Happy Hours in Story Land,\" a collection of children\'s verses and short stories. Published by McLoughlin Bros., NY, 1901. It is in Good condition--edgewear, corners chipped and rounded, cover hinges are cracked. Spine tape is worn/torn and rear cover is partially loose. Still, a lovely book filled with wonderful illustrations--over 100 pages!! Gift note appears, otherwise very clean. Book measures 8 1/2 X 10 1/4. I will offer this lovely children\'s book for only $40.00 plus $4.00 S&H in the US. Shipping costs to Canada will be considerably less than the general international rates quoted.
