Hard To Find, Oop Le Tarot De Belmont By Francoise Corboz:
Opportunity to buy from a collection of out-of-print, rare and hard to find tarot decks. Tarot lovers, readers and collectors alike can appreciate the sensation of holding both the future and history in your hands. Given the increased uncertainty of change around us, now seems a perfect time to explore the benefits of this elegant, and insightful tool.
History:Another gem to come out of inventory is a copy of Swiss artist Francoise Corboz’s, Le Tarot de Belmont. One statement which seems consistent with experts about this deck is that it makes you smile. I can say from personal experience the fantastic artistry certainly does.
The large cards give a wonderful feel and the light lamination allows for a smoother shuffle. Much attention is given to the design of this deck and its deceptive appearance. People speak of spending hours of entertainment studying the detail with a magnifying glass! The wistful, elongated figures dance around in their respective mystical message giving the sense of a dream state. The provocative figures and brilliant colors entice the observer to engage.
Those with Kabbalistic interests will find the Hebrew letters well expressed and worth meditating over. Each card figure is set against a black & white border of a repetitive Hebrew letter associated with the archetype. The back is a non-reversable, morphic figure against the full alphabet array. This display adds a fun dimension to the card’s interpretation.
The deck is out-of-print and seems to have little information to find about it. How something so well-done stays cloaked is the mystery. I bought this copy in 2000 from a wonderful collector and tarot educator - K. Frank Jensen.
Condition:The general condition of the set is excellent, with minimal wear on the cards. The box flaps and edges are the only signs of age with the cards still brilliant in color. There are 22 cards with a title card giving information about the artist and cards. No little white book (LWB) was included.
Payment & Shipping Information:The item is as described, but if more detail or information is required please ask before offerding since there are no returns. I accept PayPal or money orders only and item ships within 2 business days of cleared payment.
All orders are securely packaged with respect. Buyer pays for shipping, which includes insurance and tracking. Item will be shipped flat rate Priority Mail domestically and shipping used for international sales.
