This one-piece hollow-cast, full-size resin model is easily finished with readily available spray-can primer and paint. Metal spray can finishes are available at most "big box" home improvement stores (Home Depot™, Lowe's™), hobby arts and crafts stores (Michael's™, JoAnn's™) and, of course, modeling supply shops. You can also use an assortment of modelers' spray paints for an extra-special look.

This kit includes the resin cast, complete illustrated instructions, a small brass rod to help support the model during painting, a big ol' cork, small screw-eyes and some appropriately cheesy string for between the cork and gun.

You get a small brass rod to help support the model during painting but you will need a small block of wood and a suitable drill to mount the rod into the wood. You'll also need a hobby knife, different grades of sandpaper and some gap-filling cyanoacrylic glue (gap filling SuperGlue®). All this is covered in the fully illustrated instructions.

This one-piece kit is so simple that the surface preparation might take as little as you fuss! If you use automotive primers, which dry within minutes, you can be ready for a final coat of paint in under an hour. The finish paint will take longer to dry completely. You may elect to add a protective coat of clear finish on top of that. All of this is covered in the included illustrated instructions, which can also be downloaded by clicking here.

No special tools or exotic materials are needed.

This is really a simple project that can be knocked off quickly and enjoyed for years.

This model kit is not suitable for kids or others who need supervision with things like hobby knives and SuperGlue®. We recommend responsible adult supervision.

This is a resin model-- strong enough to handle normally, but it is hollow and not super tough!
