Haviland Limoges Ramekin & Plate Wreaths & Bows Double Gold Rim No Reserve For Sale
A beautiful antique porcelain set by Theodore Haviland of Limoges, France. The ramekin and underplate feature double gold ruffled rims, swags of pink roses, wreaths made of blue and pink flowers and pretty little blue bows. The plate has an additional decoration in the center showing a star shaped wreath formedfrom pink roses encircling a smaller wreath of tiny blue blooms, maybe forget-me-nots? I think this may be Schleiger pattern 330, but not certain. Measures: underplate - 5" across; ramekin - 3 3/4" across top, 1 5/8" high. Offered with . Please see our other listing for an additional set.
Condition: Excellent - tiny flea bite to bottom of ramekin (1/16"), no cracks, hairlines, repairs. Minor wear to gilding, a few areas of glaze pooling and a glaze "dimple" inside bottom of ramekin. The underplate has a few specks of kiln debris on the surface. None ofthis is noticeable or detracts from the beauty of this lovely and delicate set.
