Heavy Antique Arkansas Toothpick Dagger Bowie Knife 1840s:
Here is an oldArkansas toothpick , about 12 1/2" with a unmarked 7 1/2" blade. I estimate it dates to around the mid 1800s. The blade is in good shape. The faceted wood handle and brass guard are tight. The knife is balanced for throwing and can be used for thrusting and slashing. James Black, known as the inventor of the Bowie knife, is also credited with inventing the Arkansas toothpick. Santa Fe arms collection. I sell my listings WITHOUT A RESERVE , and NO returns.
