Up for sale is this wonderful ornate handmirror in what I believe is
a mixed brass and copper base around a beveled edgemirror.

It has a large finger hole (1 ¼” across) withscrolling and flowers, and connects to the metal backing. This is extremely heavy for something thatmeasures only 4 ½” across. As you cansee in the photos, the back is mottled with green and other color-aging, but isnot damaged, per se - i.e., the metal is in really good shape. The crimped edging around themirror is smooth and unadorned. There isa raised rim that rings the flowers on the back – the flowers themselves areattached with a metal brad thru the middle of the right flower, and a barepiece of metal thru the lower left leaf.

This is a unique mirror from another time.
