Here is a very nice and certainly not easy to find early stoneware whiskey jug from the small town of Hermann MO and the Distilling Company. This jug has some cracks and chips, so look closely. Certainly not a perfect example, but a nice one with a decent readable stencil so it is perfect for advertising purposes or a display shelf. Grab a piece of history now!! Near Augusta, Union, New Haven, Washington, Jefferson City, Loose Creek, Wentzville, Warrenton, Salem, St James, Rolla, Rosebud, Owensville, Belle, etc. I am pretty sure this is a one gallon jug based on the size.
