I have owned this globe for 30 or more years.
I purchased it from a teacher who rescued it so many years before.
It is in exactly the same condition as when I purchased it.
It is from the original North High School 1880\'s 90\'s 00\'s era.
I do believe it to be slated but am no expert
29 inches from base to top 18 inches across
Great claw foot base
