I am please to offer from my private collection this important historical 18k gold&enamel Patek Philippe pocket watch,awarded personally by the Chinese Chairman Mao to the first Bulgarian ambasador to China Mr.Janko Petkov in 1950.

The watch has a significant historical and political value! It has been awarded to the first bulgarian diplomat to celebrate the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Peoples Republic of China and Bulgaria circa 3 Oct. 1949. Bulgaria was the second country in the world(after USSR) which submit a recognition of the PRC before it was seated at the UN.
The watch is preserved in MINT MUSEUM condition!
On the rear case is depicted a hand engraved portrait of Chairman Mao.Above are depicted chinese characters with red enamel meaning \"Eternal friendship\" between both countries(in chinese pinyin:yong heng de you yi)
