Thissale Includes the Bed,Curtain, Mattress, Pillow, Bedspread, and Quilt,as shown in photos 9 & 10(TheHitty Doll is NOT INCLUDED). The last photo, For Reverence Only, shows how this bed can be displayed in a Bookshelf Apartment (Size 27\"w x 12\"d x 15\"h). Thisbed was patterned & scaled from doll magazine photos of Hitty\'soriginal bed (see the photos above for comparison). The bed hasa rope mattress support like the original. It has small curtainrods behind the front & rear of the canopy to hold the removablecurtain. The bed is solid Oak with Maple spindles, and has aWalnut finish. It is 7” wide, 9.5” long, and 9.25” tall.The bed can be displayed with the quilt & bedspread as shown inthe first photo. It can also be displayed with the bedspread orquilt by themselves as shown in other photos. Thequilt is reversible as shown in photos 9 & 10. ThePattern of purple dots and cream flower buds on a royal bluebackground is inspired by the book illustration of Hitty writing hermemoirs. Contrast border and reverse side is a lilac batik-stylefabric. Theoriginal bed in the B & W photos, was given to Rachael Field in 1930 by aplantation owner.
