Horn And Hardart Co. Cup And Saucer, Mayer China, New York, Philadelphia For SaleYou are looking at what I presume is amarried cup and saucer from the Horn and Hardart Co., cup from the New York location, saucer from Phila. PA! There is a small stretch fracture on the inside of the cup which looks to have been in the making, it has been stained from coffee use. There is normal wear on each piece. The Horn & Hardart Company had an interesting history beginning in Philadelphia in 1888, expanding to New Your in 1902. This is an unusual pair to find! Thanks for looking!
I have added 2 images of the flaw that is inside the cup, looks to be in the making or else someone really stirred their coffee hard, must have been robust coffee!
