This is a McClellan-style saddle, stamped Hotze & Sons 1917 on the left side rigging. The saddle was purchased at a tack sale in Missouri, and is presumed to be from the company Hotze & Sons of St.Louis. The leather shows heavy signs of wear and is cracked along the seat and throughout the rigging. However, the saddle itself has great character for decor or to be "parted-out" for the hardware for replica saddles. The saddle rack is NOT included in the sale (saddle only!), and buyer pays shipping, only ships to lower 48 US States. I don't have a great location to display this saddle - hopefully it will find someone who does! I will be happy to answer any questions you may have, although I have provided all the history I have here.
