Up for sale is a collectible porcelain sculpture created by the House of Faberge forthe Franklin Mint. The sculpture is titled \"Princess of the Glass Mountain\", a depiction of a princess from a Swedish fairy tale. According to the legend, the king had his daughter sit on a glass mountain, and whoever could climb it and get the golden apples out of her lap would marry her.The figurine stands about 10 1/4\" tall(almost 11\" tallwhendisplayed on her Germancrystal base). The crystal base measures 6 5/8\" tall and 6 3/4\" wide. The underside of the base is marked with the House of Faberge logo, the title of the sculpture, and the Franklin mint name (© 1991).I purchased this porcelain sculpture at a recent estate sale. It originally retailed for $250 from the Franklin Mint. I do NOT have the original box or any paperwork.Condition of this Franklin Mint sculptureis EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs.
