The House by the Pound. Title in lower right corner. Folk art type painting, oil on board. It is signed but artist name unknown. Nicely executed with bright colors, house on lake with ducks and boat in the water, hills and trees in the background. Age unknown but is quite old. Primitive hand made frame is 22 x 15 1/2\" with painting at 20 x 13.\" Could be English because of the use of the term \"house by the pound.\" Items are described to the best of my knowledge. I am a reseller not an art expert. I buy from garage sales, rummage sales, yard sales, estate sales, etc. I often do not know the history of the painting or how it was stored. Please note paintings and frames may have some natural evidence of aging such as small spots and small cracks. I describe all paintings to the best of my ability.
