HUGE 1950' VTG PAPER MACHE PULP Easter BUNNY CANDY CONTAINER STORE DISPLAY 35"
This amazing Easter Bunny is avintage store
window display piece, made as a gigantic candy container! It is hollow with ah
hole in the bottom, and it's head removes, and is hollow, as well. It is hand
made, and hand painted. There is a pink ribbon around it's neck that could be
easily replaced; I have left it, as it is original. The bunny is covered in plus
faux cotton fur, with the most beautiful expressive face. The bunny is carrying
a pink glitter egg, and has a pink glitter nose. The egg has some white fabric
daisies on it. The piece stands 34 3/4" tall - almost 3 feet high! It dates to
the 1950's, and has some flaws, but nothing significant, considering it's age!
There are no breaks or bad damage, just small cosmetic ones. The bunny is made
from paper mache pulp that has been blown into a mold. The bunny face and ears
are covered in a light coating of plaster, and hand painted. It is really an
extraordinary piece! The fur has some slight discolorations, and there are some
light stains to some of the paint. Please take a close look at all the photos.
Because of pt's size, I will probably ship in two boxes - one for the head and
one for the body. I have put the age at 1950's, but this fellow may,
indeed be older; there are no marks as to who made him.Please see my other listings, as there are lots of items like this one! I try to sell only the best collectibles, so you will cherish what you buy from me. I have lots of fun doing this, and I want you to have fun too. I try and recycle packaging materials as much as I can. I hate adding more garbage to the environment; if you receive a box from me that has been used before, I am "recycling". I will make sure it's sturdy, and your item will arrive in good condition, but the box may not be pretty (or it might be - I have had to buy boxes, as well). Feel free to pass it along, and ship it again! I try to keep my shipping costs as low as possible. I don't charge for my time, the materials, or in most cases, the shipping! All my packages are tracked. If you don't receive your item or it arrives broken, I will refund your money, including any shipping charges.
