Huge 25" Aluminum Leslie Tyfon 200 Locomotive Train Horn Horns Air Chime Vintage:
Leslie Tyfon Locomotive Air Horn. Has "A-200-156-RA" on one side, back end has "200" and "4933". Small circular plate affixed to back with patent numbers and other info.
The larger horn is 25" long and the bell is 10" across. It is fairly light at only 18 pounds, I am guessing it is aluminum, it is non magnetic.
It has no dents or dings but it does show wear from its days on a train.

The most popular of the Tyfon series for railroad use was the Tyfon A-200-156. This was Leslie's deep-note horn for road locomotives. The A-200 appeared on many early diesels and electric locomotives from the 1930s through the 1950s. Locomotives that had A-200s included the popular GG1s, ALCO RS1s, RS3s, PAs, FAs, EMD E and F units, and GP7s to name a few. Some late-1940s steam locomotives even included A-200 horns on them, such as the Southern Pacific Daylight locomotives like 4449. Leslie A-200s can still be heard on some older locomotives, though their numbers are dwindling. On Jul-08-13 at 15:13:59 PDT, seller added the following information:
