Huge Ansonia Parma Cast Iron Clock 21 Inches Long-1886

1886 Rare Ansonia 'Parma' Cast Iron Mantle Clock. This clock measures the largest I have seen by Ansonia, it is 21 inches long, with a width of 11 inches, plus the statue on top, and is called the Parma model. It is cast iron and has a statue on top, which is removable. The case has engravings on the front of it, as well as, marble inlay, on each side of the porcelain roman numeral dial. There is some rusting on the right end of the clock, but it really is not too noticeable. This clock is one you just do not see, and is a very desirable piece from the Ansonia family. Look in Tran Du Ly's Ansonia Clocks and Watches Guide, page 404, plate 1571. This is one good clock to have. Note the movement is signed by Ansonia, New York. It is 21 x 17 1/4 with the statue on it. and shipping is $65 within the Continental USA. Good luck on the offerding. (1q2)
