A magnificent Art Deco era Mantle Clock in huge heavy brass case, rather like a carriage clock on steroids! The face features a lovely etched pattern of swallows at top and a yachting scene below. The brushed gold dial under glass is well preserved with hands intact as shown, some very slight rubbing wear to the numerals.The case is in great shape with some surface mottling to the brass finish- age appropriate wear only and no real structural damage. The clock came with a key however it doesn’t fit the front winding holes at all! Frustrating as I’ m sure it will work once wound, all looks and feels well inside the clock. However as I cant test it its sold as is...Case stands 31.5cm width 27.5cm depth 15cm, weight 7.4 kilos.
