Huge Skookum Chief Doll Rare "left-looking" Early 1920s Label Beacon Blanket For Sale
Up for sale is this outstanding, very rare and very large Bully Good Skookum chief doll. His 19" size is rare and rarer still, a "left-glancing" in this size. He has a very early Bully Good label which makes him madearound 1920. He has real hair w/ chenille ties, a raffia necktie, cotton Beacon blanket, a headdress (missing feathers), felt leggings, and decorated suede moccasins. He is 19" tall and a little over 6" across the chest. His feet are 3.25" long. He weighs nearly 1.5 lbs. I have had him about eight years now displayed in a glass case. He had a little nick in the paint on the tip of his nose which I retouched. His blanket is beautiful and the rest of his clothes are in very good condition. He stands very proudly on his own.
