Hvy Ornate Navajo Ernie Lister 3 Turquoise Bracelet W/repousse For Sale
An ornate heavy Navajo ingot silver bracelet by award-winning Navajo silversmith Ernie Lister, born 1953, active circa 1972 to present, from the To Aha Mi, Ta'hahii Clans, noted for his heavy forged ingot silver jewelry, handwrought, handstamped and hand filed, brother-in-law of Perry Shorty, and studied under John Burnside. Ernie Lister's bio and works areprofiled in many Native American books. This bracelet has it all...amazing stampwork, beautiful matched domed spiderwebbed natural turquoise stones that appear to be from the #8 Mine, and repousse. The 5 split ingot silver shank has diamond-shaped repoussage at the terminals, as well as a repoussed satellite collar around the 1" X 1/2" center stone. Marked "E. Lister" inside. Bracelet measures 1 5/16" wide at center, tapering to 3/4" wide terminals, 5 1/4" inside end to end, an additional non-flexible 1" gap and weighs 103 grams. Excellent vintage and collectable condition.
