Up for your consideration 100% ORIGINAL Russian porcelain dinner plate from the AlexandrinskyTurquoise Service, Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg, 1900. Theturquoise blue ground border relieved with cartouches painted with brightlycolored birds, each plate having a unique grouping, the ground with gilt laurelgarlands. The reverse with the green cypher mark of Nicholas II dated 1900.Diameter 9 7/8” in.

Perfect condition: no restoration, no cracks or losses. Lookat the pictures as they are part of the description.

The Alexandrinsky (or Alexandrinskii) Turquoise Service wascommissioned by Empress Alexandra Feodorovna in 1899 for use in the WinterPalace. The service, which came to be called in honor of the Empress, comprisedalmost 1,300 pieces and was based on a original service by Sèvres in the palacestores.
