VERY RARE

An Imperial Russian silver plique a jour enamel cigarette case.

The front is decorated with a sun andsunrays over water with water lilies. In the water a a large very colorful bird under a branch with many many flowers. The front also has a silver applique.

The back is also plique a jour enamel displaying a bird in a cartouche amongst flowers.

The rim on the front and back are cloisonne enemal in traditional Russian patterns.

The silver is gilded.

Front, back and rim are hallmarked for Imperial Russian 84 silver, assay mark for Moscow by Anatoly Appolonovich Artsybachev and maker\'s mark P.R. in Cyrillic for PyotrFilippovich Rodionov.
