Important Large 1850's Coin Silver Wood & Hughes Salt Cellars W Cherub Heads For Sale
Selling a very important coin silver salt cellar set from my silver collection. It was made by the famous Wood & Hughes Company out of New York. These are very early and date back to the 1850's. Properly hallmarked underneath with W7H and 900/1000 for 90% purity of silver. Made in a very attractive design with a roped rim and cherub head and foliate handles. Each measures 5 3/8" long x 2 1/8" wide x 2 3/8" tall. Both pieces weighs 131 grams. Both in great condition, without damage or repairs.
