Up for sale with is THE BEST Sterling Silver and Cut Glass Bowl I have ever sold ! The Bowl is truly of the finest quality you will ever find with incredible very deeply and detailed cut designs of Branches, Leaves and Walnuts. The Heavy Wide Sterling Silver top rim is also amazingly Etched with Walnut and Leaf designs as well. The Bowl is simply breathtaking in real life and so much more impressive and beautiful than my photos show. If you collect American Glass or Sterling, this is sure to be the Crowning Jewel of your collection. The Sterling rim is fully marked for the top American Silver Company Gorham and though the Glass is unsigned it could only be by a top Period company such as Hawkes. The Bowl is in amazing all original condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and no dents to the Sterling rim. The Bowl is also quite a large and impressive example measuring 9-3/4" wide across the top and sitting 3-1/2" tall. The Bowl also weighs an impressive 1928 grams, with the Silver rim alone I am sure having quite a hefty weight. I don't refer to many pieces as Museum worthy but this piece most certainly is and I doubt you will ever find another like it on , especially up for sale with !
