RARE & UNUSUAL NDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE HUBBEL BENJAMIN ILLUMINATING LABORATORY SCIENCE TABLE LAMP 1915
- DESIGN: A very unique and interesting vintage Scientific Laboratory illuminating \"Hubbel\" & \"Benjamin\" Brass/Nickel table lamp circa 1915. The parts are manufactured of solid Brass, Nickel plated brass, cast iron, and steel, all very well machined and manufactured. The complete \"Hubbel\" marked Nickel plated shade assembly and \"Benjamin\" marked Brass bulb socket assembly can adjust up and down/side to side, via a ball joint collar to direct the controlled beam of light where desired. The support arm can be positioned up and down the main support rod as well as extended via its 2 way joint assembly.
- CONDITION: This striking Laboratory illuminating lamp is in superb original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Very light signs of wear with no damage or repair, just faint surface wear and light patina from age. The complete original paddle switch socket assembly has been inspected and appears clean, safe and functional. The Nickel plated shade enclosure assembly is stamped \"Hubbell\" on the fitter ring with patent dates of 6-29-\'15 on its casing shroud, the Brass socket assembly is marked Benjamin while the cast iron base bears a raised \"Kay\" The lamps general dimensions are 20\" tall with an overall width of 13\", the shade is about 6\" long…filament bulb IS included.
