An extremely high quality rare set of Irish Georgian sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked for Dublin c1800 with the makers marks being JK for John Keating see for more info. They have been simply yet beautifully designed having plain thick gauge concave arms. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They are large measuring 6 inches (15.4cms) long. They are also unusually heavy for the period weighing 43 grams. Super quality rare examples.
