Description: One beautifully embossed cigarette case in 800 silver. The case weighs 210 grams and is monogrammed (please refer to appended images for more details). It easily opens by gently applying pressure to the middle of the case. It is marked inside with "800" in an oval cartouche. To the left of the cartouche, there is a lozenge with cut sides - we could not identify what was written inside the lozenge, but we assume it was the silversmith number/maker's mark. Based on these observations, we think the case may be Italian and made after 1944 and before 1968.

Date: Mid 1900s?

Condition: Very good to excellent: we have not polished the case, to leave a pleasant patina to it. There are no dings or scratches and, as detailed above, it opens easily by gently applying pressure in the middle of the case. It equally closes easily with a gently pressure on the clasp. Please carefully examine the pictures and do not offer unless you are confident that the item's condition is acceptable.
