Ibanez Artist 2619/ar300 Av (antique Violin) 1979:
Here we have the classic Ibanez Artist 2619/AR300 with the following appointments · embossed (flying fingers) Super 80 Pick-Ups · Abalone & Pearloid block position markers · Traditional carved maple/mahogany body, laminated rock maple neck · Pearloid Velve Tune machine heads · 22 Velve Touch frets; ebony fingerboard · Half & Half Nut · Ibanez Gibralter Locking Bridge This particular guitar has been played and shows it (see pictures). There is some wear (slight buckle rash) showing on the back of the instrument as well as minor scratches, swirls & small chips throughout (hard to see in the photos). There is binding deterioration present in several areas…mostly noticeable where the neck meets the body, and at the bottom near the strap button. None of this affects playability. Gold plated parts show fading as might be expected with a 34 yr. old guitar. Guitar plays and sounds like a dream. Neck is straight and there is plenty of life in the frets. All electronics work as designed. There are no modifications to this instrument. Also includes Ibanez flight Case with custom contoured plush interior. The outside of the case has a latch that is missing its clasp so does not function (see photo). Also the bottom rear corners of the case have wood exposed as the corner pieces are missing. 3 of the 4 small feet on the case are missing as well. Structurally the case is sound. ************************** PLEASE NOTE THIS SALE IS FINAL, NO RETURNS, INSTRUMENT SOLD AS IS*************** On Apr-22-13 at 15:22:30 PDT, seller added the following information:
NOTE: The bridge is an "ST" bridge, not a Gibraltar as describedOn Apr-22-13 at 17:48:57 PDT, seller added the following information:
Dear silky_sam, Hi, You were right the first time. This is a Gibraltar bridge but it is a Gibraltar II not the original Gibraltar. Ibanez started using the Gibraltar II in the mid '80s. Thanks - tictocdoc.com
