Ibanez DD1000 Dual Digital DelayVintage 1980s rack mount delay, with two separate independent delay sections, which can be used together or separately. Warm, very analog like tone. Includes a vintage, made in Japan Boss PSA-120 200mA power adapter - supply.Delay \"A\" has up to 256ms delay time, with a variable width and speed modulation function, enabling its use as either a straight short delay, chorus, or flanger.Delay \"B\" has up to 1,024ms of delay time. On the rear panel both delays have independent 1/4\" and RCA ins and both dry and mix outs. The modulated Delay \"A\" also has an inverted mix out for stereo chorus effects. Both sides have separate footswitch jacks, and Delay \"B\" has a hold function footswitch out as well. In all, the mix and routing possibilities of this unit are almost endless.Condition: It has spent its entire life in a rack in the sound booth of a church in Oregon, and is in excellent plus condition; only very slight signs of previous use. Never been gigged or on the road, never abused, always well taken care of.Audio quality: This Ibanez dual delay is a vintage sound shaping tool, and not at all like a modern software controlled digital delay or chorus, which are actually effects emulators. This is hardware controlled, and has an all analog signal path through its circuit, besides the AD/processor/DA side chains. As a result, the overall sound is very like an analog delay, but with a noticeably lower in-circuit noise floor. In fact, it sounds very similar to the Ibanez digital delay pedals from the same era, which are well known to have a much warmer tone than comparable delays from Boss and others.Unusual, versatile, great tone, excellent shape.Shipping:The Ibanez Dual Delay will be packaged well and securely, and shipped via USPS Parcel Select to the continental USA, with full value insurance included, at no extra charge.
