You are offerding on an Imperial German1889 CavalryBavarian Chevauleger Blue Panel Sword. The hilt is in very good condition. Handle has no cracks or chips. A little wear to the nickle but still in very good condition. The blade is maker marked WKC. Blue paneled on the front. Back is engraved with charging cavalry. The blade shows some speckling and a little wear. No sharpening. No nics or dings and the tip is unblunted. Still would rate in good to very good condition. Buffer in place. Blade is approx. 32 inches. Scabbard is original black paint. No dents or dings. It would rate in very good to excellent condition.....Overall I would rate this sword in very good condition............For The New Collector: The Chevauleger fought as Dragoons. This regiment was the last regiment that Prince Alfous commanded. Prince Alfous was a General Of Cavalry.
