This is original, antique Jewish Etrog box. Classical oval form, made in Russia, Moscow, circa 1866, by -C.A.K. Hinged lid with rose finial, body raised on fourscrolled feet, gilded interior. Bodyand the lid fully marked with assay officemaster - Avdiejev I. - “84” standart.See at “Russian Gold and Silverwork 15th 20th Century” by M.M.Postnikova–Losseva. SIZE: approx. 14.0 cm (5.5``)long, 8 cm (3.1``) wide,9 cm (3 5,8``) high. Weight: approximately200 grams. In very good condition considering age, no repairs, no damage.
