Age: 15th - 19th century

Size: 5.5 inches length across handles.

Description: Wonderful square form antique Chinese jade libation cup. Carved with dragon\'s head handles. Square formed blocks to the lower portion of handles. Outside decorated with raised nipples & raised rectangular blocks. *****This form is typical of many published examples. Evidence of old tools visible in several areas.

Provenance: From an important New England collection.

Material: pale celadon jade with inclusions and mottling.

Condition: Natural fissures. No cracks. Two very small chips less than 3mm in length and less and .5 mm in depth, slightly visible but polished out on bottom of raised foot. Otherwise very slight flea-bites (chips to edges less than 1 mm) visible to rim, but these would be considered commensurate with age.
