Today I have for your consideration a very large elegant, high-end vintage centerpiece. I've been researching this bowl, and through another seller here on I found out this bowl is made by Indiana Glass from Dunkirk, Indiana and the pattern is Coronation. This bowl is very unusual and has a great shine similar to crystal. Was thought to be; Heisey Waverly or Imperial Candlewick.Just Gorgeous!!!
Will be packaged well, insurance included!
Most recent update on this bowl. I was given a very old ad by the same seller, and in the ad the Indiana Glass Company said this was the "Newest Pattern in the Indiana Line of Fine Glass." The ad also states they were inviting guest to come in to see the new line and a representative would be assisting customers. This definitely is a fine elegant vintage piece. Attached is a clipping from 1953 (pic 4).
The pattern is different from other bowls I have seen of this type. The bowl in this sale flares upward to a ruffled type of shape with bubbles throughout. Three bubbles & spaces in-between and then three additional bubbles with spacesthroughout the top of the flare or ruffle.
My assumption is anyone would love to be the owner of this bowl, especially if you are a collector of this type. It's very old, rare, and very hard to find. Highly sought after collectors item. Can be used to give as a special gift, display piece, collector's item, and will have no problem serving guest as well.
The bowl measures 12" w (top of the ruffle). The length is approx. 7 1/2" and the pedestal at the bottom is at least 4 1/2" width (Candlewick type of design lining the pedestal).
Please take a look at the pictures in this sale for additional descriptions!
Mentioning for accuracy, all our items are final-as-is-sales no matter what the condition is & preowned even in new condition!

I have had this bowl several years. It had been passed along to me and I hate to give it up. The bowl is in excellent shape for a
bowl of this age, not sure of the age (50's, or 60's). There is no damage
to the bowl, the ruffle or the bubbles that I can find, everything is intact. There is what I believe to be manufacturer line from a machine that show inside the bowl which takes nothing away from the
magnificent beauty. I have never used this bowl to serve anyone since it has been in my possession, still this is considered a used vintage item. It was used on display since I owned it and I received many compliments on it throughout the years. It is such a beauty for it's age and appears to have hardly ever been used.

Payment due within 3 business days.I work five days a week, so it is impossible for me to ship items the same day. Give me at least 3 business days to prepare item & to ship out. I usually ship items by USPS during the week, and can only ship on the weekends when things are not quite as busy. If I am out of town, shipping will be an impossible task. This does not happen very often, but from time to time, if so, I notify the customer.
I have run out of
storage space, and I have chosen to sell off items that have been packed away
for years. Some things I would like to keep but I rather see somebody get use
out of them rather than keeping them in boxes. Not listed, I am selling Waterford, Wedgwood, Pickard, Johnson Brothers, Princess House, Mikasa,
Lenox, Barbie's and other items. Ask if you are interested.
