I made this cute variegated pink baby blanket in the mermaid or fishtail style. It is very soft and warm. the blanket measures about 16\" from the top to where the fin begins. Of course, the top can be folded down to the size necessary for the baby. It measures about 26\" around the top. Total length from the top to the longest tip of the tail is about 24\". the matching cap measures about 5 1/2\" from the brim to the top of the hat not including the pompom. It measures about 12\" around the brim. again, the brim can be turned up to fit. I used acrylic baby yarn which is washable. I have a smoke free, pet free home.
