Up for sale is a collection of books to help get you started on your way to a better understanding of Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet in time, almost, for the Avengers: Infinity War movie. Written by Jim Starlin, mostly, and Roger Stern and Pencilled by Ron Lim, mostly, the incomparable George Perez and John Buscema these books, mostly :) , reintroduce Thanos into the Marvel Universe on his quest to obtain all of the Infinity stones and along with him comes the revival of Adam Warlock and then the deaths of half of the Marvel Universe - and then their subsequent resurrection.
Silver Surfer 34 is where it all begins and features the revival of Thanos. To be honest, this book is not in mint shape. There is some tanning of the pages, take a look at the cover, you can see it creeping in in the number and UPC box as well as along the spine. This book was not stored properly by its original owner - who was not me. Still, it is a very nice book.
Silver Surfer 36 features the Impossible Man and has cameos by the Avengers, Thanos, Captain Marvel, Warlock, the Thing and Spider-Man. There is a brief recap of the previous Thanos story lines. Again, A very nice book, better than 34, but there are light stains - or something - on the back cover - ask for pics if you like.
Silver Surfer 45. This book has seen better days and been put through the wringer so it ain\'t pretty. What it is though is a beginner copy to get you started if you want to temporarily fill in a hole or just an inexpensive copy for your collection. Ask for pics to take a better look.
Silver Surfer 47 brings the Surfer, Drax and Warlock out of the Soul Gem as they get ready to throw down with Thanos. This is a much better comic than the previous books. Very nice.
Infinity Gauntlet 1 is when things start to heat up. There are a few minor dents and dings on the back cover - ask for pics if you want - but this is a very nice book.
Infinity Gauntlet 3 is another nice book. There is a small tear/rip in the cover around Cap\'s arm that is slightly visible in the pic provided - more noticeable on the back cover - ask for a pic to check it out - but still a nice book.
Infinity Gauntlet 6 is another roughed up issue. While not in the same league with Surfer 45 it has seen better days as well.
Avengers 258 is a very nice book and features the 2nd appearance of Nebula.
I provided fronts and backs of the rougher copies so you\'ll know what your offerding on but I encourage you to ask for additional pics to answer any questions you may have.
