I am pleased to offer you this antique Sumida Gawa signed figural bowl from Japan. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs, with some wear to the painted base appropriate to age of piece. Also very light crazing on one or two figure robes. Fine coloring in the figures and flow over glaze. All figures have a very detailed, animated visage. Measures roughly 6 inches long and 4 inches wide. Marked on reverse with artist\'s name. The very best of classic, elegant and authentic artisanship.
