Iron-age weaponry bronze short-sword
Bronze short-sword/dirkcast in one piece, with eared crescentic pommel, flanged grip and lenticular blade.
Length 34.6 cms (13.6 ins).
Condition: Very Fine condition, complete and intact; two holes (stable) worn through at th the grip; light earthy encrustations.
Luristan area of Persia: Circa 1100-900 BC.Provenance: This item is not a UK find and as such is not subject to the Portable Antiquities Scheme. Purchased from a prominent London dealer and previously acquired legally on the UK Arts market in the 1990\'s.
