Israeli Vintage Judaica Tsedaka Charity Money Box Bank Bovine Bone circa 1950s

Was created in Israel during the 1950s. Made of bovine bone with a beautiful work of carving. Carrying the Hebrew word "tsedaka" in the front. Excellent condition. During the 1950s there was a financial depression in Israel and it was hard for craftsmen to import expensive materials so they used whatever was available to them in day to day life.
