Italian Empoli decorative oversized blue glass sweetie jar or trinket box.
It was made in Italy circa 1950 and still has its original jar is:
29cm (11.5 inches) high;11.5cm (4.5 inches) wide at the base;20cm (8 inches) wide;and weighs 1.3kg (2.5 pounds).
It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, scratches or bruises. There is a large internal crack which is a manufacturing irregularity and does not effect the use of the jar. It is inside the glass itself, not a crack from being dropped. It is also on the underside of the bowl and so is hardly visible but has been taken into account wen pricing.
