JAPANESE ANTIQUE 19TH CENT MEIJI OX BONE OKIMONO, This japanese antique okimono is a fantasticpiece and very well carved from a single piece of fine antique ox bone, the subject is a japanesefarmer with bunches of grapes which he has picked from a vine, the details are amazing and carved to a very good standerd, This okimono was made during the meiji period 1868-1912, size 13 cm, condition good, but there has been a professional restoration applied to the ankles were it had once been broken, the restoration has been done so well that it is very hard to notice unless you are holding it up very close and looking at the spot, All in all this fine quality antique meiji ox bone okimono would make a great display piece in any sale WILL RUN WITH NO FIXED RESERVE PRICE, I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE!

It has been brought to my attention that there is other damage to this okimono of which I did not notice and of which I should have noticed before and included in the discribtion of this item when writing about its condition, The head of the man has been restuck back on to the okimono, there is some slight glue residue and thats how it was noticed, it was a clean break and has been glued back to fit perfect, I am very sorry about this misteak in not mentioning this, any questions please feel free to contact me.
