Agood, Japanese,Imariporcelain, liddedvase, with "shishi" (buddhist lion) finial, datingto the late 19th Century. Painted with a design of flowers, inunderglaze blue with iron red enamel, and gilt highlights. Measuring 8"high and in perfectcondition, apart from a chip to the edge of the lid rim (see photo 5).
